S&C Services…more than surveys! S&C stands for: Surveys / Legal Support / Consultancy / Claims Management.

With more than 15 years of active service in claims management and expertise, as well as a full legal background and work experience in a reputable law firm and a management position at a transport insurer, S&C Services can offer you expertise and more…

S&C Services has grown as a name from Claims & Surveys Van Acker GCV, founded in 2010 by Bart Van Acker. An independent claims management company initially (about ten years ago) placed a 100% focus on managing and settlement of claims (Cargo, CMR).

In 2010, the focus was broadened. Claims management was combined with carrying out survey assessments.

From there, Claims & Surveys Van Acker GCV was founded in which the necessary experience (and technical expertise) was gained to have a full scope on the “handling” of a claim file.

Experience from the initial declaration, over the survey and reporting to the final settlement of a claim.

The idea of S&C Services has matured from this experience. Providing legal assistance, handling claims for damages and carrying out expert assessments, advising, informing and training, sharing the knowledge… being bitten by everything that lives and moves within the transport and logistics world, it’s a passion!
